inp.polri.go.id - Oksibil. Personnel from Damai Cartenz Operation Task Force conducted a dialogue patrol in the Oksibil District, Bintang Mountains Regency, visiting several community activity points on Monday (July 20th).
The patrol, led by Second Police Inspector Ranto Achmad Chamdani, not only focused on monitoring the security situation but also provided an opportunity to engage in direct dialogue with the people and visit an elementary school in the Oksibil District.
During the school visit, personnel greeted teachers and students and briefly discussed the ongoing teaching and learning activities. The personnel's presence was enthusiastically welcomed by the students, who took the time to interact and take photos with them. The personnel also conveyed simple messages to the children about studying hard, respecting one another, and maintaining unity within the school environment.
Following the school activities, the patrol continued with visits to several community activity points. Personnel engaged in dialogue with the people about environmental conditions and encouraged them to immediately report any potential security disturbances. The dialogue also provided an opportunity for residents to share the conditions they face in their neighborhoods.
During the patrol, personnel monitored the situation in several locations that are centers of community activity. No security disturbances requiring police action were found, and community activities continued as usual.
Oksibil community leader, Engelbertus Uropmabin, assessed that the dialogic patrols provided a space for the community to communicate directly with officers.
"Activities like this are good because the community can express their feelings directly to the security officers. The presence of personnel at schools also provides attention to the children and allows them to get to know the officers better. We hope that this type of communication will continue so that if problems arise in the community, solutions can be found together quickly," said Engelbertus Uropmabin.
The Head of the Damai Cartenz Operation Task Force, Inspector General Faizal Ramadhani, stated that the dialogic patrols are part of a preventive measure to maintain security while building communication with the community through direct interaction.
"Dialogic patrols provide an opportunity for personnel to hear input from the community while monitoring security conditions in the area. Interaction with residents and educational institutions is part of the effort to build good communication in carrying out duties," said Faizal.
