Head of Damai Cartenz Operation Public Relations, Superintendent Bayu Suseno, accompanied by Vice Head of Pegunungan Bintang Sub-regional Police Micha Tobing Potty, and entourage, visited the YPPK Saint Agustinus Yapimakot Elementary School in Serambakon District on Wednesday (2/28/2024). Upon their arrival, they were greeted warmly by the school principal Albertus Ningdana and teachers, where they appreciated the visit and thanked them for making time to meet with the children. On their visit to the school, Bayu and entourage brought with them books for school library, while meeting with the children to share joy and smiles. “Thank you for visiting our school, because your visit really do give us a sense of security and helps ensuring us that we could continue our daily school activities,” thanked Albertus Ningdana Albertus then continued that Papua is their land, part of Indonesia and demands rebels to stay away from it. “This is our land, do not disturb us, so that we could further nurture our next generations to become the people that will further develop our village, state, and country,” said Albertus. On the other hand, the Damai Cartenz Ops PR Chief, Superintendent Bayu Suseno said that his visit with the police women was for them to get closer with the children, and people of Serambakon. “We from the 2024 Damai Cartenz Operation are trying to preserve public security and order. One of the efforts is by sending our police women to interact with the students of YPPK Saint Agustinus Elementary School in Yapimakot village. I pray what we do today could prove beneficial for the upcoming generation,” said Bayu. Meanwhile, the Vice Head of Pegunungan Bintang Sub-regional Police, Assistant Superintendent Micha Tobing Potty conveys his gratitude for the Damai Cartenz Ops PR Chief who took their time in visiting the children and she was also feeling proud as she was chosen to accompany the unit in meeting the children. “This is an extraordinary moment for us as we could accompany the Damai Cartenz PR.
