Inp.polri.go.id - Tembagapura. The 2026 Damai Cartenz Task Force in collaboration with the Tembagapura Police Office reinforced its community-oriented approach by hosting the "Honai Belajar" educational program.
Led by Tembagapura Police Chief First Inspector Firman, the two-day initiative took place at the Tembagapura Police Office in Mimika Regency, Central Papua.
"Through this Honai Belajar program, we aim to be present not only as security guardians but also as community partners supporting the education of Papuan children," said the Head of Damai Cartenz Task Force, Inspector General Dr. Faizal Ramadhani.
The community program focuses on expanding the horizons of local children through interactive geography and basic science lessons. Using simplified visual tools, officers taught the young participants how to identify world maps, recognize different continents, and understand the order of planets orbiting the solar system, sparking early curiosity about outer space and earth sciences.
Damai Cartenz Task Force Deputy Head Senior Superintendent Sinaga added that the interactive lessons serve as a key humanistic approach to building local human resources, fostering public trust, and maintaining a stable security environment in Central Papua.
