Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Deputy Chief of the Indonesian National Police (INP), Commissioner General Prof. Dr. Dedi Prasetyo, launched his 42nd book, titled "Mengawal Pangan Menuai Aman" (Guarding Food, Reaping Safety)  on Wednesday (24/6/2026).

"Food security is not just about harvests; it is about the resilience of the nation. When the food supply is secure, social stability becomes stronger, public welfare increases, and the country has better endurance to face global threats," Chief Dedi said

Co-authored with Inspector General Dr. Anwar and Inspector General Dr. Susilo Teguh Raharjo, the book is officially registered under Intellectual Property Rights (HAKI) with registration number 001297886. The book draws heavily on field observations, operational reflections, and policy frameworks regarding the protection of national food strategic programs, focusing specifically on corn commodities. It details how the INP play a crucial role in safeguarding supply chains, coordinating cross-sector distributions, and maintaining market stabilization amidst global challenges like climate change and land conversion.

The publication is intended to serve as a strategic academic and practical reference for policymakers, demonstrating the police's commitment to national development through thought leadership.
