Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Officers of Damai Cartenz Task Force carried out a dialog-based foot patrol in Sinak District, Central Papua, on Tuesday (2/6/2026) to maintain security and build closer ties with residents.
The patrol, starting at 9.20 am local time, combined security monitoring with direct interaction. This human-centered approach reassures communities and prevents potential disturbances. Residents responded positively, appreciating the presence of police as both protectors and partners.
Damai Cartenz Task Force Head Inspector General Dr. Faizal Ramadhani explained, “Patrols are a visible form of the state’s presence, providing safety while strengthening communication between police and citizens.”
Damai Cartenz Task Force Deputy Head Senior Superintendent Adarma Sinaga added that humanist methods will remain central to operations in Papua.
The patrol confirmed that conditions in Sinak were safe and stable, with daily activities continuing normally.
