On 21 July 2025, the task force members held a cultural activity at Torsina Elementary School in Mimika, dancing the viral “Pacu Jalur” aura farming dance with children. Led by Damai Cartenz Deputy Head of Public Relations Senior Inspector Yusuf Tauziri, the event fostered joyful interactions and trust.
Children received small gifts and sweets, reinforcing the police’s role as protectors and friends, not just armed forces.
“This is how we create safe spaces for children in conflict-prone areas,” said Senior Superintendent Yusuf Sutejo, the Damai Cartenz Task Force Head of Public Relations Yusuf Sutejo, adding that such human-centered initiatives are key to promoting long-term peace in Papua.
