Inp.polri.go.id - Jayapura. The Damai Cartenz Task Force identified two members of an armed criminal group (KKB) involved in shooting three Jayawijaya Agriculture Office civil servants in Muliama District, Papua Mountains. 

Head of the Damai Cartenz Task Force’s Public Relations Unit Senior Superintendent. Yusuf Sutejo announced in Jayapura on Saturday (12/9;2027) that suspects PN and KT have been placed on the official wanted list .

"Both of them were identified from video call footage circulating on social media and are now on our wanted list," he said.

Police matched physical characteristics from the footage against existing database records. Authorities suspect both PN and KT belong to the KKB’s Ndugama command faction led by Egianus Kogoya. 

Investigations link both suspects to prior violent incidents, including an 8 August  2026 shooting at the Baliem Valley Cultural Festival and the February 2023 hostage-taking of Susi Air pilot Philip Mark Mehrtens, who was later released on 21 September 2024.
