inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Densus 88 Anti-terror team arrested two terrorists in West Jakarta on Tuesday (8/6/2024). The two terrorists were said to be affiliated with Daulah Islamiyah or ISIS.
“The arrest of the two suspects is part of our effort in preventing terrorist criminal actions, particularly the terrorist attacks,” said Head of Planning and Administration of Densus 88 Anti-terror, Brigadier General Aswin Siregar on Wednesday (8/7/2024).
The two arrested terrorists are RJ and AM. They supported ISIS through uploading narration or propaganda in social media about ISIS.
“It is also said that they fly the ISIS flag while holding a weapon and invite anyone who watches it to support ISIS,” explains Aswin.
He explains that police are examining the two suspects intensively for further investigation.
