The Directorate of Prevention of Special Detachment (Densus) 88 collaborated with the Riau Regional Police Security Intelligence and the Ministry of Religious Affairs in strengthening the role of Da'i and Religious Instructors to prevent intolerance, radicalism, extremism, and terrorism. 

This activity was held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Riau Province.

This activity was attended by around 150 people, including Da'i, Da'iyah, and Islamic Religious Instructors. They were given provisions and appeals about the dangers of radicalism and terrorism, as well as the importance of religious moderation and early detection.

The Head of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Riau Province, Muliyardi, said that the collaboration is to instill an understanding of Islam as the guide of life and religious moderation.

The Head of Densus 88 Prevention Team, Superintendent Sunadi, said that this activity demonstrated the active role of religious instructors and preachers in caring for others, especially amidst social challenges in society. He also invited the Provincial and City/Regency Ministries of Religious Affairs to collaborate in environmental development activities and strengthening religious moderation.

With this activity, it is hoped that it can further boost public awareness and vigilance against the dangers of radicalism and terrorism. This activity is also expected to strengthen the role of preachers and religious instructors in preventing radicalism in the community.
