The Special Detachment (Densus) 88 Anti-terror of Indonesian National Police (INP) attends as a speaker at the Nusantara Cultural Exhibition and Poetry Reading Competition with the theme "SUDARA (Voice of Peace in the Archipelago)" on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at the RRI Auditorium in Ternate City.
This activity was attended by around 100 participants consisting of representatives of Junior High School (SMP) students in Ternate.
Superintendent Muslim Nanggala, from Densus 88 unit, gave a presentation on the dangers of the influence of intolerance, radicalism, and terrorism, as well as how to prevent them.
He also explained the characteristics of people and young people who are starting to be exposed to these ideologies.
The Vice Governor of North Maluku Province, Sabrin Sehe, in his remarks expressed his gratitude to the Densus 88 Team for taking the time to provide socialization and education to stakeholders and competition participants about preventing IRET ideology.
This activity is expected to strengthen the participants' self-esteem and spread knowledge about the dangers of IRET ideology to their peers at school.
Through this activity, Densus 88 continues to strive to raise public awareness and vigilance against the threat of terrorism.
