Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The National Police Counterterrorism Squad Densus 88 held a national insight workshop and anti-terrorism declaration in Cilegon, Banten, on Thursday (25/6/2026) to combat intolerance, radicalism, extremism, and terrorism.
The community event gathered approximately 400 religious counselors, village officials, and local police officers at the Hotel Permata Krakatau. The initiative highlighted family dynamics as the primary defense against digital propaganda and radical ideologies.
"Media social is currently one of the main tools for spreading intolerance and terrorism propaganda," warned Banten Densus 88 Task Force Chief Senior Superintendent Mayndra Eka W., stressing the importance of state ideology values.
Cilegon Mayor Robinsar and local officials signed a joint declaration rejecting extremist ideologies. The event also featured a narrative from former terrorism convict Munir to assist local authorities in developing early detection strategies.
