inp.polri.go.id - West Java. Responding to a viral video on social media showing a dangerous motorcycle freestyle stunt in a public facility, the Cianjur Sub-regional Police immediately deployed tactical personnel. 

As a result, the main perpetrator of this reckless stunt, which disturbed road users, was apprehended and immediately issued a strict ticket.

This enforcement operation by the Cianjur Police Department began with the alertness of officers conducting a raid on the use of noisy exhausts. 

While inspecting vehicles, officers received a rapid complaint from the public via the emergency hotline 110 regarding a group of youths performing motorcycle acrobatic stunts on a main road. 

Upon receiving the accurate report, the Cianjur Sub-regional Police Department's Mobile Brigade Unit immediately mapped the location to track down the group of riders.

"Upon receiving the report, officers immediately moved quickly to patrol and map the perpetrators' locations," said Head of the Cianjur Sub-regional Police Samapta Unit, Police Senior Inspector Yudistira Nugraha, Sunday (7/19/2026).

Joint officers from the Cianjur Sub-regional Police then searched several strategic locations suspected of being the escape routes for the motorcycle gang, including the Pasirhayam area, Siliwangi Street, and KH Abdullah Bin Nuh Street. 

Based on visual tracking, the group was known to be heading towards the Panembong area. It was at this location that officers successfully surrounded the riders and apprehended the mastermind of this dangerous act.

"In the Panembong area, we managed to apprehend one of the five riders. This person was the main perpetrator who was performing the freestyle stunt on the highway," explained Yudistira.

The Cianjur Sub-regional Police consider this reckless act to be very serious because it disregards road safety and has the potential to trigger a traffic accident that could result in loss of life. 

After being arrested, the perpetrator was immediately taken to the police station for a thorough examination, including a medical examination in the form of a urine test involving the Narcotics Unit to prevent drug abuse.

"The urine test results showed the perpetrator was negative for drug abuse," added Yudistira.

Based on the investigation team's interrogation, the young man admitted to committing the dangerous stunt on the iron wheel solely for the sake of his digital presence and internet popularity.
