Inp.polri.go.id - Jambi. Jambi Regional Police Chief Inspector General Krisno H. Siregar has warned all personnel to avoid illegal activities and not tarnish the force’s image by acting like “uniformed thugs.”

“Do not get involved in anything illegal. Many task forces are cracking down on crime—don’t become part of the problem. Don’t be thugs in uniform,” he said during a visit to BatanghariSub-regional Police on Saturday (10/5/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.

He stressed firm action against thuggery, drug abuse, and other unlawful acts, urging professionalism, integrity, and discipline from all officers. He also reminded them to maintain strong family ties as a source of strength while serving.

The visit included a briefing from Batanghari Sub-regional Police Chief Superintendent Handoyo Yudhy Santosa on ongoing land conflicts, equipment shortages, and personnel needs.
