inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Chairman of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), Habiburokhman, commended the Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Suyudi Ario Seto for his swift action in eradicating drug networks in Indonesia. He considered the Chief of Police's direct involvement in leading the drug eradication effort a crucial step in protecting the public, especially the younger generation, from the dangers of narcotics.
"I give a thumbs up and offer my highest appreciation to INP Chief General Suyudi, who immediately stepped up to lead the war against drug networks in the country," said Habiburokhman in his statement.
According to Habiburokhman, INP's efforts under Suyudi's leadership are not only focused on law enforcement and arresting perpetrators, but also part of an effort to protect the public from the impacts of drugs.
He assessed that eradication efforts are being carried out from upstream to downstream, starting with the uncovering of an underground drug laboratory in Pidie, Aceh, taking action against an illegal tramadol factory operating across provinces, and raiding drug distribution locations in several villages previously considered difficult to reach.
"The Police Chief's actions are real and indiscriminate. We have seen the police's decisiveness in dismantling a drug factory in Pidie, Aceh, eradicating illegal tramadol production factories operating across provinces, and their courage in combing and directly raiding distribution dens in various drug villages," he said.
Habiburokhman added that INP Chief's direct involvement in drug eradication operations sends a message that the state is present and cannot be outdone by drug syndicates. This step is also considered to encourage regional police forces to act with the same speed and commitment.
House of Representatives Commission III, Habiburokhman, supports INP's commitment to eradicating drug networks without compromise. He requested that these efforts be continued to reach broader networks, including major dealers.
"We ask the police to maintain this 'all-out' rhythm, eradicating all networks down to their roots and the major dealers, for the sake of a future free from drugs," he said.
