inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) expressed its appreciation to the Indonesian National Police (INP) for their efforts to ensure the success of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program. He assessed that INP is capable of managing the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Centers (SPPG) to high standards.
Chairman of Commission III of the DPR RI, Habiburokhman, stated that INP’s involvement demonstrates a clear commitment to always being present in the community as they not only enforces the law but also supports the government's social policies.
"On behalf of Commission III of the DPR RI, we appreciate INP’s performance in contributing to the success of the Free Nutritious Meals program by managing SPPG to high standards," Habiburokhman said on Sunday (5/10/2025).
He revealed that SPPGs under the auspices of INP have reached more than 600 units. Based on monitoring conducted so far, there have been no reports of food poisoning due to strict management.
"Every food goes through two stages of rapid testing—checking the smell, taste, texture, and use of reagents—so that potential damage can be detected early," he explained.
He further expressed his hope that the number of SPPG managed by INPcan be added more. Furthermore, Habiburokhman also pushed for the standard for managing SPPG by INP to become a national benchmark.
"With this standard, cases of poisoning can be reduced or even eliminated," he said.
