Inp.polri.go.id - Forde. Indonesian weightlifter Rizki Juniansyah won two gold medals and broke a world record at the 2025 IWF World Championships, competing in the men’s 79-kilogram class early Tuesday (7/10/2025).
He claimed gold in the Clean and Jerk after lifting 204 kilograms, setting a new world record, and also topped the total lift category with 361 kilograms (157 kg in Snatch and 204 kg in Clean and Jerk). He added a bronze medal in Snatch with a 157-kilogram lift, according to antaranews.com.
Fellow Indonesian lifter Rahmat Erwin Abdullah won silver in Clean and Jerk with a 203-kilogram lift. North Korea’s Ri Chong-song won gold in Snatch (163 kg) and silver in total (360 kg), while Egypt’s Mohamed Younes took bronze in total with the same lift count but a lower Snatch record.
Earlier in the competition, veteran lifter Eko Yuli Irawan earned bronze in the men’s 65-kilogram class with a total lift of 137 kilograms.
