The House of Representatives (DPR) Commission III visited the Central Java Regional Police as part of their Working Visit during the Recess of the Second Session, on Monday (12/11/23). Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi, Chief of the Central Java Regional Police, expressed gratitude for the visit and provided an overview of activities carried out in 2023. These included police operations in traffic, intelligence, and security measures for international events like the FIFA U-17 World Cup. "We successfully ensured the security of all stages of the 2024 elections through the Mantab Brata operation. Subsequently, this operation will transition into the Operation Mantap Praja, with a focus on securing simultaneous regional elections in Central Java,," said the police chief. During the same event, Brigadier General Agus Rohmat, Head of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) for Central Java, presented initiatives related to establishing resilient villages. He highlighted campaigns, such as drug awareness programs in universities and religious gatherings. "BNN has engaged in awareness campaigns among the youth, visiting 12 universities, and conducting initiatives in religious gatherings attended by tens of thousands in various districts like Wonogiri and Pekalongan," he stated.
