Inp.polri.go.id – West Sumatra. The public has been warned to stay vigilant with the flow of forged money ahead 2024 new year eve. Police highlights the importance of vigilance in accepting the money. “People are implored to be careful with the flow of forged money which possess danger to you and small entrepreneurs. Police underscored the importance to inspect the validity and authenticity of the money more carefully, particularly the high valued money,” says West Sumatra Regional Police PR Chief, Dwi Sulistyawan on Monday (12/11/2023). Dwi hopes that people would also soon report the case to local authorities if they found or suspecting the potential forged money. “This is part of police commitment in maintaining public safety and security while involving the active role of all public elements,” says Dwi. The PR Chief adds that he hopes the warning could help thwart the flow of forged money so that people could celebrate their holiday in safe and with joy. (ad/bg/pr/nm)
