inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Kompas Research and Development (Litbang Kompas) survey showed that the average rating of Indonesian National Police (INP) professionalism improved from 7.76 in 2025 to 8.37 in 2026. This achievement received high praise from Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI).
The Chairman of Commission III of the DPR RI, Habiburokhman, assessed that the increasing public perception of INP’s professionalism demonstrates that the Bhayangkara Corps is not only pursuing legal action, but also becoming closer with the community.
"INP no longer merely prioritizes repressive actions or rigid law enforcement, but rather a persuasive, solution-oriented, and nurturing approach," he stated on Friday (6/26/2026).
Undeniably, he observed that the closer relationship between INP with the community demonstrates a significant cultural shift within the Bhayangkara Corps.
"The police are now closer, warmer, and more responsive to public complaints. This cultural change makes the community feel safe and comfortable," he explained.
Habiburokhman then touched on the extraordinary leadership of INP Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo. He stated that the slogan "Presisi" (Precision) has truly been translated into concrete actions.
"We must be objective and honest in acknowledging that the INP under the leadership of General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has indeed performed exceptionally well. His "Presisi" vision is not just a slogan, but is truly realized through internal reforms and tangible improvements in public services. His calm, firm, and responsive leadership is the key to this surge in public trust," he said.
