inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Member of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) Martin D. Tumbelaka appreciates the performance of the Indonesian National Police (INP). To that end, he encouraged budget optimization in 2026 to further strengthen the performance of the National Police.

This was conveyed by Martin after attending a Working Meeting with the Attorney General and the Chief of INP at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Monday, (7/7).

"We greatly appreciate the hard work of all ranks of INP who have not only succeeded in reducing crime rates, but also continue to adapt to technological developments," said Martin.

He emphasized the acceleration of digital transformation in INP. Therefore, the legislator from Gerindra pushed for the 2026 budget allocation for the development of a digital-based reporting and rapid response system, increasing digital forensics capacity, modernizing cyber crime investigation equipment, and intensive training of human resources in the technology sector.

“In this digital era, crimes are becoming more advanced and rampant. Therefore, INP also has to continue in improving their technology capacity, from their Ai based monitoring system, big data analysis to prevent crimes, to strengthening cyber security,” continued Martin.

Furthermore, Martin noticed the hard work of INP in being actively present in the digital space and pushing for a more synergized communication strategy.
