The aim of these warehouse enhancements is to bolster security in the storage of explosives and assure the safety of on-duty police officers, he said on Tuesday (5/3/2024). The explostion at the East Java Police's Gegana bomb squad office has left 10 officers injured, antaranews.com reported. East Java Police Chief Inspector General Imam Sugianto has suggested that the explosion likely resulted from remnants of explosives slated for disposal. The cause of the explosion is under investigation by a team formed by the INP Police Chief, as confirmed by the INP Public Relations Division's Head of Public Information Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko.
