inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The East Java Regional Police and East Java Development Bank collaborates in strengthening banking security by signing a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) on institutions partnership in the banking sector and financial services.

East Java Regional Police Chief Inspector General Imam Sugianto said the cooperation with East Java Development Bank is a strategic step to boost efficiency and effectiveness in law enforcement and security.

The scope of this agreement consists of several exchanges and utilization of data and/or information, utilization of banking products and services, security assistance, legal cooperation in the banking sector, increasing capacity and utilization of human resources, social and environmental responsibility programs, and utilization of facilities and infrastructure

Imam also appreciated East Java Development Bank for its support towards the development of local MSMEs through funding and training as it has a positive impact on improving the economy and community welfare.

"Hopefully our cooperation with East Java Development Bank can further optimize its financial management so that it can give a more  positive impact on economic growth and regional stability," said Imam on Tuesday (10/22/2024).

On the other hand the East Java Development Bank President Director Busrul Iman said that this cooperation is also an effort to develop the company's business in order to reach a wider audience.

"In addition, the East Java Regional Police can also utilize banking products and services provided by us for the management of all or part of the State Budget (APBN), grants and Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) within the East Java Regional Police," said the President Director of East Java Development Bank.

The banking products and services facilitated by East Java Development Bank are checking accounts, savings, deposits, salary distribution, pensions and performance allowances.

In addition, the signing also includes cooperation for e-channels and digital services, financing of credit facilities to the East Java Regional Police, and financing to partners or associates of the East Java Regional Police.
