inp.polri.go.id - Surabaya. In the commencement of Zebra Operation 2021, the Traffic Directorate of East Java Regional Police launches operational cars of Integrated Node Capture Attitude Record of E-TLE (Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement)(INCAR ETLE). The high-tech cars would find and record traffic violators in East Java.
"If there are any violations, officers could send it to people who downloaded the (electronic law enforcement application)", Chief of East Java Regional Police, Police Inspector General Nico Afinta, said in the Selamat Pagi Indonesia programme in Metro TV on Tuesday (16/11/21).
The INCAR ETLE cars were launched by East Java Regional Police and would the first to be used in Indonesia. Twelve cars would be patrolled across East Java to look for traffic violators.
The INCAR ETLE car has high technology because it has four cameras on the top of the car. The vehicle also has a CPU made by East Java Regional Police which connects with the data centre.
These cars would record all violations automatically and integrate with online law enforcement data. The data would be sent to the violators and their punishment as well. INCAR E-TLE would be in operation for 24 hours to complement the static E-TLE law enforcement system.
