Inp.polri.go.id - East Kutai. The East Kalimantan RegionalPolice supervised the cattle farming program at Industrial Farming Pit J, a reclaimed mining site in East Kutai Timur, on Tuesday (2/6/2026).
The initiative, led by East Kutai Sub-regional Police r, integrates agriculture, livestock, and fisheries to support food security and community welfare.
The East Kalimantan Police Supervision Inspectorate led by Senior Superintendent Yudhi Suhariyadi and his team inspected facilities, livestock health, feed supply, and management practices.
“This program must deliver sustainable benefits for society, not just production gains,” Chief Yudhi said.
East Kutai Timur Police Superintendent Fauzan Arianto explained that cattle farming is a priority sector due to its potential to meet food needs and improve farmers’ incomes. The program demonstrates how post-mining land can be transformed into productive areas with long-term economic value.
The police continue to provide guidance and evaluation to ensure the program’s success, positioning industrial farming as a model for sustainable food security in East Kalimantan.
