Inp.polri.go.id - Metro. Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Prof. Abdul Mu'ti has called on teachers to be cautious when using social media, warning that much of today's viral content is driven by sensationalism rather than truth.

“Now, many people chase viral fame just to make ends meet. The content may not even be accurate,” said Abdul Mu'ti while opening a student sports and arts festival in Metro, Lampung, on Saturday (26/4/2025).

He also highlighted the growing trend of “no viral, no justice,” where issues are exaggerated to attract attention online. In response, he urged educators and the public to critically assess what they see on digital platforms and avoid being misled by disinformation.

Minister Mu'ti added that the ministry is developing a deep learning curriculum focused on meaningful, joyful, and respectful education free from bullying.
