Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta administration will build a jogging track connecting Taman Langsat, Taman Leuser, and Taman Ayodya, located near the ASEAN Secretariat building in South Jakarta.
“These three parks will be linked. We’re going to build a proper jogging track,” said Governor Pramono Anung on Saturday (26/4/2025), as quoted by antara news.com.
The project supports Jakarta’s new role as the ASEAN capital after losing its status as Indonesia’s national capital. It aims to create more inclusive public spaces for recreation and community activities.
The upgrades, which will not use the city’s regional budget, are part of a broader urban revitalization effort. Governor called the project a symbolic legacy of Jakarta’s transformation.
He added that six major parks, including Langsat and Ayodya, now operate 24 hours a day, with further improvements planned through 2026.
