inp.polri.go.id - Nabire. The Nabire Sub-regional Police stated that the celebration of Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijri in their jurisdiction proceeded safely and conducively. A joint force of 600 personnel was deployed to support security during the Eid al-Adha celebrations.

"The personnel come from the Nabire Sub-regional Police and sector police units, including the City Sector Police, West Nabire Sector Police, Yaur Sector Police, Uwapa Sector Police, and Napan Sector Police," said Nabire Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Samuel D. Tatiratu, on Wednesday (5/27/2026).

He explained that personnel were deployed at several locations, particularly large mosques in Nabire City, to conduct patrols and provide security during worship services. 

He stated that security measures were in place to ensure the public could perform their prayers safely, comfortably, and devoutly.

"In the city, there are around seven to eight large mosques that are the focus of security," he said.

Superintendent Samuel expressed gratitude for the orderly and peaceful security situation during the Eid al-Adha celebrations.

"Praise God and thank God, the situation in Nabire remains safe and conducive," he said.
