The Indonesian General Election Commission (KPU) said the 2024 General Election logistic distribution has reached 99%. “Regencies and cities have already received the ballots. Although some are still waiting for the provincial DPRD ballots,” said KPU Chair Hasyim Asy’ari in his press statement on Monday (2/5/2024). Hasyim also ensures that his party will immediately complete all election logistic needs. “If God wills it, we have everything covered, we just have to send it to few other places. The ballots have been sorted out and folded neatly and will be put inside the ballot box,” said Hasyim. Meanwhile, 60% election ballots have been put inside the ballot box and sealed. Later on, the election logistics will be sent to regencies, districts, and Polling stations. “We also maintain close communication with the central and regional government, also the military and police in supporting safe election logistics distribution,” conclude Hasyim.
