Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Regional Police identified 104 polling stations are in prone areas. In response to this, police will deploy 414 personnel to secure the location and 97 personnel to Sub-regional Polices.
The East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Daniel Tahi Monang Silitonga says that the 104 Polling Stations will be each guarded by two police and two Linmas. However, as of now Regional Police Chief assures that the security condition is secured.
Daniel also expects that every personnel in the field also have to understand the region, and personnel also asked to work fast and firm if there are disturbances.
“Handle the conflict and its potential as early as possible to prevent it from escalating, which could hinder the smooth of voting day,” says Inspector General Daniel.
Furthermore, Daniel adds that personnel also instructed to give their best in the election security operation in their respective areas in maintaining public trust to the government.
