The South Sumatra Regional Police affirmed its commitment to strengthening transparency, accountability, and organizational governance through the Entry Meeting for the Performance and Compliance Audit for Semester II of 2026 held by the Supreme Audit Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK RI) on Tuesday (8/18/2026).

The event was opened by the South Sumatra Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Sandi Nugroho, and attended by the BPK RI Audit Team.

Chief Sandi expressed his appreciation for the BPK RI Team's presence in Bumi Sriwijaya. He stated that the audit is a crucial part of evaluating and improving organizational governance to make it more effective, transparent, and accountable.

"This audit is a vital tool for diagnosing organizational health to ensure that governance is running properly and is accountable," said Sandi.

He emphasized that every rupiah of the state budget is a public trust. Therefore, the South Sumatra Regional Police views BPK as a strategic partner capable of providing evaluations and recommendations for improving the implementation of police duties.

The second semester audit of 2026 focused on compliance with the Public Order and Security information system and the management of Non-Tax State Revenue in traffic law administration and enforcement.

Sandi instructed all Heads of Work Units and Heads of Regional Units subject to inspection to provide full support and to disclose data and organizational conditions openly.

"Prepare all documents completely, accurately, and on time. Do not conceal any data or information. If any weaknesses are found, disclose the actual situation so we can make improvements," he emphasized.
