inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Traffic Directorate of Metro Jaya Regional Police announced that the Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) notification via WhatsApp messenger will begin today.

“Yes, it begins today,” says the Head of Development and Law Enforcement Sub-directorate of Metro Jaya Regional Police, Superintendent Ojo Ruslani on Monday (1/20/2025).

The implementation of this application is an innovation in the digitization effort that will further enhance the traffic law enforcement system to be more effective and efficient. 

As the application of this new system requires mobile phone number data from vehicle owners, Metro Jaya Regional Police Traffic Law Directorate has long implementing a policy where the vehicle owner's mobile phone number must be included during the process of making a Vehicle Registration Certificate (STNK)

"The Cakra Precision System is the latest system used by Ditlantas to send ticket notifications via SMS, Whatsapp, and email to violators," he explained.
