Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Finance has announced plans to recruit 380 new staff for the Directorate General of Customs and Excise, specifically targeting high school graduates for essential field operations.
"We urgently need technical staff on the ground, and I have directed the immediate execution of this recruitment to strengthen our frontline performance," he said on Tuesday (7/4/2026), as cited by antaranews.com.
The Minister emphasized that while the recruitment process had faced previous delays, it is now prioritized for launch as early as next month to address critical operational gaps. While broader civil servant candidates (CPNS) quotas remain under the authority of the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucrate Reform, Minister Purbaya confirmed that the budget for these specific technical roles is secured.
This initiative is in line with government projections to fill over 160,000 vacancies created by recent retirements across various state institutions.
