inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Vice Minister of Agriculture Sudaryono says the food self-sufficient program is hastened through cross-agency collaboration, including the TNI, Polri, and the Public Works and Public Housing  Ministry.

Sudaryono says that this effort is being carried out through various steps such as land intensification, irrigation repair, and creating new land farms.

“We are working together with the Public Works and Public Housing Ministry in working on irrigation. On the other hand, there is a target of creating 3 million hectares of land in five years,” said Sudaryono on Tuesday (1/14/2025).

Moreover, the Agriculture Ministry is also working together with the Indonesian National Police (INP) in corn planting and the security yard food crops. Meanwhile, the Indonesian National Military (TNI) focuses on securing rice distribution.

The Vice Minister of Agriculture stated that this collaboration was very effective and ran compactly.

“It has been going well. Everything is going harmoniously in supporting food self-sufficient,” conclude Sudaryono.
