inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Coordinating Minister of Human and Culture Development Pratikno conveyed that the free screening program for people can improve the general public health.

“Health screening is part of President Prabowo’s commitment in improving people’s health quality. We are aware that falling ill can affect our productivity and it will also eventually be the burden of the government. So, a leading and quality human resource are those who are healthy in physical, mental, and moral, also well educated,” said Pratikno on Tuesday (1/14/2025).

He explains that the health screening program is the government’s effort in preventing the public from falling to chronic diseases.

“This health screening is part of the government's effort to prevent chronic diseases through early detection as we have seen the report from the Health Ministry that there are many fatalities caused by chronic diseases, such as cardiac arrest, that we could have prevented early on,” explains Pratikno.

Furthermore, with improved health, people can be more active and productive, able to give their contribution and support the government’s programs.
