inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Food Task Force has highlighted Minyakita, which is still being sold nationally above the Highest Retail Price (HET). However, there was a general downward trend at the end of the monitoring period.

"This commodity is the most frequently reported by the public through the complaint hotline," said Inspector General Jhonny Edison Isir, Head of INP Public Relations Division, on Thursday (2/19/2026).

He explained that, based on a recapitulation of the Central Saber Task Force Post, over two weeks, monitoring was conducted at 18,628 locations across 38 provinces and 514 regencies/cities throughout Indonesia. 

Jhonny explained that the Head of the Criminal Investigation Agency of INP, Commissioner General Syahardiantono, as the Steering Committee Chair, emphasized to all Task Forces, at the central, provincial, and district/city levels, not to hesitate to take firm action against businesses that violate food pricing, safety, and quality regulations in accordance with applicable laws.

"During the monitoring period, the Task Force issued 247 warning letters, replenished 588 empty stocks, and took 34 food samples for laboratory testing," said Jhonny.

According to Jhonny, the Food Task Force has also issued recommendations to revoke one business license and three distribution permits for businesses found to have violated HET and food safety and quality regulations. He explained that these firm measures serve as a warning to businesses to comply with price regulations and food safety standards.
