Maluku Regional Police Water and Air Police Directorate of Salawaku Mantap Brata Operation visits beach communities to convey security messages ahead 2024 General Elections. Communities visited by the police area those who live around Hurnala port and Mamoking port, Tulehu Village, Salahutu, Central Maluku. “The visit to beach community is also meant to improve our awareness against potential security threats ahead 2024 General Elections,” says Water and Air Police Director unit, Grand Commissioner Handoyo Santoso on Thursday (11/2/2023). He says that the activity is also meant to solidify the relationship between the police and the public. Police hopes people and security apparatus would work hand-in-hand in maintaining conducive situations at the region. “People can also report to the police if there are any disturbances in the area,” says Handoyo. Initially, Maluku Regional Police has also determined to intensify their patrol in several area while also conveying security messages.
