inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Former Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), A.M. Hendropriyono, praised the increasing level of public satisfaction with the Indonesian National Police (INP), as reflected in the results of the 2026 Kompas Research and Development Survey.

He stated that this achievement is a positive indicator that the public is beginning to perceive the various improvements made by INP, both in service and law enforcement.

In his statement in Jakarta on Monday (6/29/2026), Hendropriyono stated that the public satisfaction level, which reached 82.6 percent, is worthy of appreciation.

"The survey results showing the public satisfaction with INP, which reached 82.6 percent, must be seen as an indicator that the public perceives various improvements in service and law enforcement," Hendropriyono said.

However, he cautioned that the survey results are not the ultimate goal. According to him, public trust and satisfaction can only be maintained if the police continues to demonstrate professional, transparent, accountable, and fair performance in all its duties.

"However, we must also recognize that the survey is not the ultimate goal. Public trust must be maintained daily through professional, transparent, and fair performance by the police," he emphasized.

Furthermore, Hendropriyono hopes that INP will continue to strengthen the implementation of the Precision Police concept by prioritizing fast, accurate, and humane services. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining integrity, neutrality, and respect for human rights in every law enforcement process.

In addition to improving the quality of human resources, Hendropriyono also encouraged INP to continue adapting to technological developments. According to him, the use of digital technology and artificial intelligence is a strategic step in improving the quality of public services, making them more effective, accurate, and accountable.

"The use of digital technology and artificial intelligence needs to be continuously developed so that public services become more accurate, faster, and accountable, in line with the needs of the public in the modern era," he concluded.
