Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Agency is questioning former East Kalimantan Mobile Brigade (Brimob) officer Senior Brigadier Dedy Wiratama, accused of backing a drug village in Samarinda.
He arrived in Jakarta on Friday, (5/6/2026) for examination by the Narcotics Crime Directorate’s Sub-directorate IV and NIC Task Force.
“Senior Brigadier Dedy Wiratama, who backed the Gang Langgar drug village, will undergo narcotics crime investigation here,” said Brigadier General. Eko Hadi Santoso, the Director of Narcotics Crime..
He explained the questioning followed completion of an ethics process. Dedy was found guilty of serious violations and dishonorably discharged by East Kalimantan Police’s Profession and Internal Security Division for protecting the drug village.
