Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Former Director of Registration and Identification at the Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps, Brigadier General (ret.) Yusri Yunus, passed away on Sunday night (19/1/2025).

The news was confirmed by the INP Public Relations Division Head of Public Information, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko. 

“We extend our deepest condolences for the passing of Brigadier General (ret) Yusri Yunus,” he said in Jakarta, as quoted by antaranews.com..

He wished forgiveness and peace for the deceased, and expressed hope for strength for the bereaved family.

Former Director Yusri passed away at RSCM Hospital in Jakarta. He will be laid to rest on Monday at 10 am at Tanah Kusir Cemetery, South Jakarta.

A 1991 graduate of the National Police Academy, he  had a distinguished career in public relations, serving as Head of Public Relations for West Java Regional Police, a Unit Head at the INP Public Relations Division’s Public Information Bureau, and Public Relations for Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional  Police, before becoming a Director of Registration and Identification at the Traffic Corps.
