Inp.polri.go.id - Pemalang. |Four people were killed and several others injured after a tourist bus carrying members of the Bendan Ngisor Urban Health Forum (FKK) from Semarang overturned on a sharp curve at the Gandulan Toll exit in Pemalang, Central Java, on Saturday (25/10/2025).

Pemalang Police Police Head of Traffic Assistant Senior Inspector Arief Wiranto said the bus was carrying 34 passengers, including three crew members. 

“The current toll stands at four dead, one seriously injured, 13 with minor injuries, and 16 unharmed,” he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.

Victims were taken to Siaga Medika Hospital, Al Ikhlas Islamic Hospital, and Prima Medika Hospital in Pemalang. Preliminary investigations suggest the driver lost control while turning, causing the bus to flip onto the roadside barrier.

Tour leader Riyan told reporters the driver had complained of brake failure moments before the crash.

 “He said the brakes were not working and tried to slow down, but the bus hit the barrier and overturned,” he recalled.
