inp.polri.go.id - Palembang. The Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Abdul Mu'ti, will review the zoning system and the National Examination (UN). Later, he will first absorb aspirations from various parties.
In his statement, he said that his party is currently absorbing aspirations from various parties related to a number of policies in the field of education that have sparked polemics. This starts from the school zoning system to the re-implementation of the National Examination.
"In addition to the issues of the National Examination, zoning, and also issues related to teacher welfare, we once again expect input from various groups. Which in time will become a reference for us at the ministry to make policies," he said on Saturday (11/2/2024).
Other than gathering input related to theoretical aspects from education experts, aspirations will also be absorbed from policy implementers. Parties who are directly related to the community are also important to be used as references.
"So there are theoretical academic studies from education experts. There will also be input from organizers and policy makers," he explained.
His party will also summon the heads of education offices throughout Indonesia to the mass media to discuss current education policies.
"Give us input, so we can make the best decision for the advancement of national education in the future," he explained.
He further emphasized that his party would not make decisions related to these education policies hastily. According to him, it is important to review it as a whole, including considering the national education quality map factor.
