Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo on Saturday (16/8/2025) officially inaugurated Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo as the new INP Deputy Chief.

INP Head of Public Relations Division Inspector General Sandi Nugroho said that the appointment was confirmed through Chief of Police Telegram No. ST/1764/VIII/KEP./2025 dated 5 August 2025.

“At the same time, Commissioner General Dedi also officially handed over his position as Inspector General of Supervisoryto the INP of Police,” he said in a written statement, as quoted by antaranews.com

During the ceremony at the INP Headquarters, Deputy INP Chief Dedi raised his full commitment to support the INP Chief’s leadership, especially in implementing President Prabowo Subianto’s directives through the Astacita program, which aims to strengthen public service and security.

General Dedi replaces Commissioner General Ahmad Dofiri, who retired in June. His promotion also brought a reshuffle of senior posts, with Commissioner General Wahyu Widada appointed as the new Inspector General of SUpervisory and Commissioner General Syahardiantono as Head of the Criminal Investigation Agency.
