Inp.polri.go.id - Jayapura.  The Damai Cartenz Task Force has arrested Konara Enumbi, a member of an armed criminal group (KKB), suspected of killing a police officer in Puncak Jaya, Papua. 

The suspect was linked to the fatal shooting of Brigadier Ronald Enok on 21 January 2025.

“The arrest was carried out on Friday at around 10.40 am local time in a honai at Usir Depan Village, Puncak Jaya. Enumbi is affiliated with the Yambi faction led by Tengah Mati Enumbi, the commander of Kodap Yambi,” said Brigadier General Faizal Rahmadani, the Head of the Damai Cartenz operation, in a statement on Saturday (16/8/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.

During the raid, officers seized evidence including a Yamaha Vixion motorcycle, clothing, and personal items. 

Authorities confirmed Enumbi is under intensive questioning at Puncak Jaya Police headquarters in Mulia.
