The Indonesian Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka welcomes the visit of the Vice President of the People's Republic of China (PRC), Han Zheng, at the Vice President's Palace on Monday (10/21/2024). In this meeting, Vice President Han Zheng congratulated Vice President Gibran on his inauguration.

On the other hand, Gibran also affirms that Indonesia will strengthen their collaboration with China during the government of Prabowo-Gibran.

“What’s clear is that our government will be committed to continuing what has been implemented. Thank you for your support, including in the construction of the high-speed train," said Gibran.

Meanwhile, Vice President Han Zheng responded positively to the statement. He believes that the cooperative relationship between the PRC and Indonesia is doing great.

"We are also confident that the new Indonesian government will continue the tradition of friendship between the two countries," he explained.

Vice President Han Zheng also said that following the meeting between President Prabowo and President Xi Jinping last April, future cooperation plans with various related departments in the PRC will be followed up immediately.

“This cooperation will not only benefit the people of the two countries, but also contribute to the prosperity of the region and global,” says Han Zheng.
