inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Minister of Trade Budi Santoso says his ministry has three core programs in delivering the golden era of Indonesia.

“The three core programs are domestic market security, the export market expansion and enabling MSMEs for export. Being able to export means daring to innovate and ready to adapt," said the Minister of Trade on Monday (10/21/2024).

He said that the entrepreneurship ratio in Indonesia is still relatively small, which is around 3.47 percent. While in developed countries, the ratio has reached 10-12 percent.

To that end, the Ministry of Trade wants to pursue the number of entrepreneurs by encouraging MSMEs to export. The Ministry of Trade also stated that it already has various instruments to support the program.

"Soon we will devise the many events and programs as the instruments for the three core programs actually have been there, from the policies to others, all in line with the three core programs," said the Minister of Trade.

Budi Santoso was officially inaugurated as Minister of Trade in the Red and White Cabinet for 2024-2029 by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta on Monday (10/21/24). He replaced Zulkifli Hasan as the previous Minister of Trade.
