The Directorate General of Immigration on Wednesday revealed the case of a US citizen with the initials TK who was arrested on suspicion of producing pornographic content in Indonesia and selling it via social media.
Yuldi explained that TK entered Indonesia on January 25, 2025 with a visit permit status. From Bangkok, Thailand, he landed at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali.
In Bali, TK lived as a backpacker. He looked for victims to play with in the pornographic videos from entertainment venues. At least two Indonesian citizens (WNI) were suspected of being victims.
TK was then arrested on March 25, 2025 at Ngurah Rai Airport when he was about to fly to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Then, on April 9, 2025, TK was transferred to Jakarta for further investigation and inquiry.
