inp.polri.go.id - Bogor. The Gun Column attraction was one of the highlights of the 80th Bhayangkara Day Commemoration Ceremony at the Indonesian National Police (INP) Mobile Brigade Corps Training Ground in Cikeas, Bogor Regency, on Wednesday (7/1/2026).
Relying on unity, discipline, and precision of movement, INP personnel displayed a gun formation that spelled out the words "80th Polri," symbolizing the Bhayangkara Corps' eight decades of service to the nation and state.
The attraction was part of a series of ceremonies attended by President Prabowo Subianto, Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, state officials, Indonesian Military (TNI) and INP leaders, and thousands of members of the public who attended the 80th Bhayangkara Day commemoration, themed "Police for the People."
The Head of INP Public Relations, Inspector General Johnny Eddizon Isir says that the attraction is not just for show, but also represents the characters of all police personnel who are disciplined, united, and professional in carrying out their duties.
“The Gun Column attraction demands unity, discipline, and precision of movement. These values are the characters of our personnel in order to provide protection, service, and law enforcement for the public,” explained Johnny.
Furthermore, the formation of “80th Polri” symbolizes the long journey of service of the institution for eight decades and also demonstrates the spirit of transformation to be more modern, professional, and trusted by the public.
“This day serves as a reminder for all Bhayangkara personnel to continue to maintain their best performance, professionalism, and provide services that increasingly benefit the community," said Johnny.
