inp.polri.go.id - Bogor. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo reports that all Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) established by the police has successfully maintained its zero accident status.
“As of this day, we are grateful that our SPPG has maintained its zero accident status,” noted Sigit in his opening speech at 80th Bhayangkara Day Ceremony, Cikeas, Wednesday (7/1/2026).
According to him, the achievement was thanks to the implementation of food security standards in their every SPPGs. Other supporting facilities were also given such as stainless steel water tanks, water filtration and reverse osmosis systems, water heaters, wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs), food steamers, and food quality testing equipment.
This step was taken to ensure that all food processing processes consistently meet food safety standards. In front of the President, General Sigit also reported that, of the 1,500 SPPGs set for 2026, 1,415 had been established by the end of June.
He detailed that 828 kitchens were already running, 227 units are soon to run, and 360 units were still under construction. Furthermore, 33 SPPGs were built in underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost (3T) regions.
"All these SPPGs are estimated to serve 3.5 million beneficiaries and employ 70,700 workers," he said.
The INP Chief stated that the SPPG managed by the police continues to meet various service standards. To date, 348 Certificates of Hygiene and Sanitation (SLHS) have been issued, 146 certificates of halal product assurance, 285 certificates of water laboratory testing have also been obtained, while 305 chefs have undergone training.
To support menu quality, General Sigit said, INP have also compiled a book titled "Rasa Bhayangkara Nusantara" which contains dozens of nutritious menu options.
