inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Manpower Minister Yassierli says that the government needs to work harder in facing current challenges and economic conditions.
“The current situation is very volatile and the public expects us to do something in facing these huge problems,” says Yassierli on Tuesday (4/8/2025).
Several challenges mentioned include the low competitiveness and productivity, high potential layoffs, high unemployment rates, link and match between education and the world of work, and enforcement of employment norms.
Yassierli considers that those are the driving force for his ministry to work harder and optimally.
On the other hand, Yassierli says that he and vice minister Immanuel Ebenezer Gerungan have undergone administrative transition for six months under the government of Prabowo-Gibran.
In his statement, he saw there is still much to do in building a comprehensive system and organizing the ministry to be better.
“We have work to do to present a regulation that is fair. On the other hand, we also aim to strengthen our research, improve our governance, reform our bureaucracy, our data information, and many more,” conclude Yassierli.
