inpl.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Cooperatives Minister Budi Arie Setiadi says that the Red and White Village Cooperatives can boost the economic national resilience amidst the world economic turbulence.

Budi says that the cooperatives will be the core instrument in moving the village economy.

“Let us strengthen our collaboration between each other and continue to improve our public service quality. In this moment of Eid celebration, this can be the turning point for us in further solidifying our commitment to improve the Red and White Village Cooperatives as an effort to strengthen the national economy resilience amidst the uncertain global dynamics,” says Budi on Tuesday (4/8/2025).

Moreover, he emphasized that the main goal of the Red and White Village Cooperatives is to empower the people to realize village economic independence.

Budi believes that every village can be independent economically, which eventually will realize national economic independence although faced with the challenging situation on the world stage.

“The Red and White Village can be the momentum to improve public welfare and strengthen the public economy with the basis of cooperation,” continued Budi.

The launch of the Red and White Village Cooperatives itself is scheduled to be launched on July 12th, 2025 or coincided with the National Cooperatives Commemoration Day.
